WP.1: Initial conference

This conference commence with a “public” day to which key stakeholders in ecological farming education in Europe will be invited.

During this first conference partners outline and compare all existing learning systems for supporting and recording students’ learning in the workplace. Strengths and weaknesses of the various systems used by partner institutions are identified and discussed.

WP.2: Selection and transfer of existing innovative learning practices in ecological farming to the new contexts and the specific target group

A package of the best and innovative training and professional practices for ecological farming are collected and organized. It is analyzed the package and present a framework for its use and adaptation to m-learning modules.

For the selected module(s), the m-learning modules are prepared and included in the training platform, so it can be tested among partners.

To provide a better understanding of the target group and its technical and practical needs for a professional activity in ecological farming, information should be collected and analyzed, in each country/region.

WP.3: Testing of m-learning modules in the new context

It is organized a short course to test the m-learning module(s) with field activities, addressed to students and unemployed people that are interested in starting an ecological farming activity.

The m-learning tests are supervised to provide the evaluation report and the list of skills obtained.

WP.4: Development of a m-learning course curriculum

After testing the short m-learning course, and based on the feedback report, the whole curriculum course is developed and designed, including a complete package of m-training modules and innovative learning materials in ecological farming for coaches and teachers.

The m-learning curriculum includes a proposal for the implementation and functioning of the m-learning courses and for the coaching role and activities.

WP.5: E-book of good practices in ecological farming

The terms and content of the E-book will be scientific and technological prepared, for the target group use. The E-book will be able to be used in seven languages all over the Europe, and also at an international level.

WP.6: Dissemination and networking of the project

This website contains detailed information of the project aims, activities and progress.

The dissemination of information, learning materials, correspondence and contact among partners, are developed over a network hosted on the website.

A newsletter detailing project aims, progress, activities and successes is produced and disseminated each trimester via website to all interested stakeholders. This newsletter is also published on partners websites. Paper copies are produced for conference and courses use.

WP.7: Creation of a database of institutions and trainers focus in ecological farming

The conception of a database of institutions and trainers focused in ecological farming provides information for those who want to search for a special skill and/or training.

WP.8: A report/ proposal to LLP and the EU authorities for the m-learning farm qualification certification

A m-learning on ecological farming skills list are proposed and all the partners provide a feedback report on its appropriateness and adequacy to its national and target group context.

A report and/or a proposal based on the revised skill list for ecological farming practice and equated with national and European EQTs certifications will be submitted to LLP and EU authorities for future certification of the qualification of m-learning ecological farming courses.

WP.9: Final conference

This conference commence with a “public” day to which key stakeholders in ecological farming education in Europe will be invited. The conference concentrates on presenting ECOnewFARMERS project results. The m-learning in ecological farming qualification will be explained.

The m-learning curriculum in ecological farming, the package of materials and the E-book of good practices in ecological farming will be presented and disseminated among participants and further dissemination actions will be considered.

Future m-learning in ecological farming courses among partners and other interested stakeholders will be assembled.

The external auditor will present the evaluation report, based on results and quality of the products and on the project’s objectives achievement in terms of effectiveness and impact that will be transposed in a midterm.
